An active member of the New York State Bar, Thomas has worked exclusively in immigration law with an emphasis on asylum and international human rights — representing clients before immigration courts, the Arlington Asylum Office, and numerous USCIS field offices.

Anahita Avestaei
Partner · Immigration Attorney
An Iranian-trained lawyer with an LL.B. from Shahid Beheshti University, a Master of Law in Human Rights from the University of Tehran, and an LL.M. from American University. Anahita brings deep expertise in human rights immigration proceedings, including asylum and trafficking visas, enriched by years of NGO work across the Middle East.
